Today I’m gonna review and swatch all 5 Naked Skin color correcting fluids from Urban Decay + the Naked Skin concealer for you guys and I’m super excited to tell you about these!
I don’t own too many UD products but those I do, I’ve always been happy with so I had high hopes for these and they didn’t let me down.
They all come with a soft flat headed applicator that makes it easy to apply precisely and in stripes around your face in the areas you need it which I really like since I find some concealer applicators too rough for the delicate under eye area.
I also really love the sleek packaging and how they stuck to the same design for both the concealer and correctors so they match each other when displayed. I also love the fact that the tube is clear so it’s easy to grab whatever shade you want to use without having to look at names or stickers.
Now, these have a very creamy liquid hydrating consistency which I really like since I have dry skin and they blend like a dream which is a must for me, especially when concealing under eyes and correcting areas like pimples or marks since those tend to be dryer and more patchy.
Since these are so thin and creamy in the texture I find that I need to make sure to set these well to really prevent any creasing, but I always set my face so that hasn’t been a problem for me at all. If you want a concealer that doesn’t need to be set then I personally wouldn’t recommend this to you.
Top to bottom: Yellow, Pink, Lavender, Peach, Green + Fair neutral.
What they do:
Yellow – Corrects dullness
Pink – Brightens dark areas
Lavender – Balances sallowness
Peach – Corrects dark circles/under eyes or anything with blue or purple undertones
Green – Reduces redness
As you can tell from the swatches, these are super pigmented, has great coverage and a little goes a long way which I love but the best thing about the correctors is the fact that they they color correct without leaving you super green, purple, orange etc. I hate color correctors that takes 5 layers of foundation and concealer to cover afterwards since that defeats the whole purpose of them and with these you just need your regular concealer or foundation to even everything out after correcting.
Overall I would highly recommend to try these, especially the correctors.
