Today’s tutorial is another V-day look but this time I went for something much softer and day-time appropriate. I decided to do some soft subtle glitter eyes and nude pink lips to keep it soft and romantic 💕
Today I’m going to review and swatch all 10 shades of the Limecrime Perlees metallic lipsticks 💄
These are described as a comfort-wear creamy metallic matte lipstick with a full coverage color and a soft sheen of metallic. They retail for $18 and can be bought right here.
Starting of with the packaging I think we can all agree that these tubes are absolutely stunning! I don’t think I’ve ever seen prettier packaging before, the floral pattern is gorgeous and they’re super sturdy and good quality!
Now, I’m not personally a fan of metallic lipsticks for “everyday” or “beauty” looks on myself but for creative makeup I really like them and think they give a nice effect on the lips.
These have a very subtle sheen of metallic compared to many other brands and that’s what I really like about these. They’re subtle enough to almost make it look like your lipstick is just very shiny and they don’t have that glittery gritty feeling, texture or look.
They applied very creamy and were super easy to apply. While wearing them you don’t feel the metallic in them, they just feel like a regular creamy satin matte lipstick so they’re super comfortable and non-drying to wear.
Wear time is about 4 hours for me before I need to reapply but they leave a soft stain so it’s not that noticeable when they’re wearing off, they just become more subtle and softer in color.
Left to right: Third eye, Gemma, Charmed, Roswell, Penny, Beetle, Asphalt, Denim, Mirage & Lady.
They all swatched super easily with full opaque color with one swipe only.
My favorite colors out of them all are: Third eye, Roswell & Denim 💙
New goodies I just got in the mail, so excited to play with it! 💕
Morphe was so sweet to send me their full collection of liquid lipsticks, and somehow it ended up at my parents house but my dad was so sweet to bring it by last night and I was so excited when I saw what it was! The texture feels nice and creamy when I swatched a few and they have a sweet candy scent that I really like so I think I’m gonna love these.
I also got the 4 new Gerard Cosmetics lipliners, these are such stunning colors and the previous liners are some of my favorites so I know I’ll use these a lot. These launch February 14th.
Today’s video is another V-day tutorial and this one is a super fun one! We have some glitter going on, some cut crease and some gorgeous lips! Even though pink isn’t my favorite makeup color to use I knew I had to do at least one pink V-day tut!
